‘The Greatest Museum in the World’ is an exhibition and the title of the book presented here.

“The greatest narrative we can imagine.
N2 is a guiding thread, a thread for those who travel along it. This movement or displacement translates into a discourse, an idea or a narrative. A journey of images that move in the imagination, a gesture, a topographical profile of 800 kilometres of the country from North to South, from Chaves to Faro.” Pedro Campos Costa

‘As an alternative to the construction of monospecific narratives and territories, a ’mise en abyme‘ (narrative in abyss) is proposed, which seeks to celebrate the diversity of the landscape, with its multiple narratives and models, and of a road stratified in time and space, between miriametric landmarks and strata of memory.’ Eduardo Costa Pinto

Álvaro Domingues, Duarte Belo, Valter Vinagre, Daniel Malhão, Nuno Cera and Paulo Catrica, six authors of the new narrative of the road, analyse the territory through a photographic lens, creating six visions of the territory, from six marked sections.

Curated by Pedro Campos Costa and Eduardo Costa Pinto.
