Eduardo Costa Pinto is a landscape architect and independent researcher. He is a partner in the GETOUT Landscape Architecture studio. He began his studies in Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Lisbon. He has a degree in Landscape Architecture from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia – U.L.. His professional activity began in 2007 and since then he has collaborated with various studios in Portugal and Italy, including Margem – Arquitetura Paisagista, DRECTA Urban Management, PROAP, Promontorio Arquitetos, Campos Costa Arquitetos and GETOUT Landscape Architecture. As a result of these collaborations, the following projects stand out: Antwerp Waterfront, Fenestrelle Fort, Portimão Urban Park, Alcácer do Sal Waterfront and the Loulé Municipal Stadium. Since 2009, he has participated as a tutor in various seminars and workshops with the Milan Architecture Centre (ACMA). He is also curator and co-author of the project ‘Sete Círculos / Seven Circles’, with architect Pedro Campos Costa, with whom he is also developing the project ‘Superlativo – N2’. He has published several articles and given several presentations at different universities on topics such as ‘Dynamic Cities’, ‘Circular Landscapes’, ‘Green Infrastructure’ or the ‘Logic of the Limit’.
