Pedro Campos Costa

Pedro Campos Costa is an architect, founder of Campos Costa Arquitetos, who has been developing multidisciplinary practice through his projects, including scenography, artistic creation, and speculative exploration of territory. Some of his notable works are the Lisbon Aquarium Extension or the rehabilitation of the Hotel Ozadi in Tavira, or even Consulado-Geral of Portugal in Rio de Janeiro. He’s been involved in academia, being currently a guest at the Politecnico di Milano. Throughout his career, he has received several awards for his architectural contributions, such as a special mention for innovation in architecture at national architecture awards, 2022; Fad 2015 Award; A.prize 2012, Exposynergy, by Triennale di Milano; Gyeonggi International Ceramix Biennale in South Korea; Prémio Valmor from the Lisbon City Council; Europe 40 under 40 2012, by the European Centre for Architecture Art and Design, and the “Next Generation” award from Metropolis Magazine in New York, among others.
