Os Novos Novos: André Tavares à conversa com uma nova geração de arquitetos

In the third episode, André Tavares interviews Os Novos Novos, the five architecture studios taking part in the exhibition now on show at the CCB’s Garagem Sul. The conversation took place during the inauguration of the Sound It exhibition, where a live recording studio for Rádio Antecâmara’s podcasts will be operating for the next few months.

Sound It brings Rádio Antecâmara’s residency to Garagem Sul in the CCB. With a wide-ranging programme over six months, the studio welcomes numerous guests, and it is through dialogues between architects, artists, designers, and conversations with poets or landscape designers, between interludes made of sounds and music, that Rádio Antecâmara takes a closer look at our contemporaneity.
The programme hosts interviews and conversations recorded on the opening day of the exhibition and future programmes, the result of integrating new elements into Radio through Open Call.
Sound It explores the ways in which sound constructs and shapes perception and spatial experience. Transcending the visual dimension and going beyond acoustics, Sound It delves into the perceptual, narrative, emotional and referential dimensions of space. It’s a subjective journey to discover an invisible architecture, a space perceived sonically, an audible and emotional place.
The word is the virus of radio, sound is the matter of space.
