Francisco Petrucci and Gonçalo Sena propose orla, a sculptural~sonified installation of shared authorship, based on transmutations and variations of sound and material perception. Based on studio experiments that overlap their practices – from underwater field recordings to electromagnetic waves, accompanied by sound transmission systems by Francisco Petrucci; or metal structures that support objects of industrial or geological origin produced/collected by Gonçalo Sena – the artists propose a spatial composition with various sculptural elements, some of which are sonified (emit sound and/or vibrate).
