For this special episode, recorded live at Rádio Antecâmara, we invited Luciana Fina, a filmmaker, artist and curator who has lived in Bairro das Colónias for 30 years. In her company, we talked about the “culture of uprooting”, while trying to build roots, stems, leaves, rhizomes, whole trees.

“Trees without roots” is a monthly radio program, lasting 471 meters, which will take place within the defined perimeter: 471m around n.17A Rua de Cabo Verde. We will rarely cross this boundary! The duration of each program will depend on the length of a physical and imagined route, defined in advance, carried out in the company of one or more guests. Along this route we will talk about the construction of the contemporary landscape and the relationship between our collective imagination and the places we inhabit, how we transform these places and how the places transform us.
