Teresa Braula Reis

Teresa Braula Reis is a Portuguese artist born in Lisbon in 1990, where she currently lives and develops her work. She graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and completed her Masters in Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, after an exchange period at the Facultat de Belles Arts in Barcelona.

Her artistic practice explores the relationship between sculpture and architecture, using materials such as rubble, bricks and cement to create installations that reflect on the memory and transformation of urban spaces. In 2015, she was honoured with the EDP Foundation’s New Artists Award and, in 2018, she represented Portugal at ARCOmadrid.
