Cellist, artist and composer, focusing his artistic and musical activity on the relationship between sound and space, anchored in a transdisciplinary research between Music, Architecture and Sculpture. Since 1998 he has presented his artistic work in exhibitions, concerts and performances in Portugal and abroad and has collaborated extensively with other artists, musicians, architects and performers. He graduated in Architecture (FAUTL) and Sculpture (AR.CO) and is currently an FCT Fellow as a PhD researcher in Music and Sound Arts at the Sonic Arts Research Center at Queen’s University Belfast. He was a student at the School of Visual Arts in New York and a resident artist at the Cité International des Arts in Paris. He is a founding member of the OSSO Collective: a platform for creation and programming in the field of disciplinary crossings.
