Sound is not only a phenomena limited to auditory perception, but a relational condition that has the capacity to traverse matter, thereby activating it. Reflecting on this physical process, Luca Gori develops a project that meditates on how material absorbs and reflects sound aves. The resulting installation is conceived as a receptive system in which sculptures made of raw earth function as sensitive containers for vibration. By incorporating speakers and microphones, the ambient signal is captured and amplified, highlighting a direct relationship between the external sound of the space and the internal materiality of the sculptures. At first, only minute vibration, twitches, and spasms manifest in the structures. However, over time, the process generates an irreversible response: the matter loses cohesion, cracks, and crumbles. Eventually, the form is consumed by the very sound that activates it.

Throughout the residency period, the public is invited to follow and witness this continuously evolving process.
