Pedro Campos Costa

Pedro Campos Costa is an architect and founder of Campos Costa Arquitetos, who has developed a multidisciplinary practice through his projects, including scenography, artistic creation and speculative exploration of the territory. His work includes the extension of the Lisbon Aquarium and the refurbishment of the Ozadi Hotel in Tavira, as well as the Consulate General of Portugal in Rio de Janeiro. He has been involved in academia and is currently a guest of the Politecnico di Milano. Throughout his career, he has received several awards for his architectural contributions, such as the special mention for innovation in architecture at the national architecture awards, 2022; Fad Prize 2015; A.prize 2012, Exposynergy, from the Triennale di Milano; Gyeonggi International Ceramix Biennale in South Korea; Valmor Prize from the Lisbon City Council; Europe 40 under 40 2012, from the European Centre for Architecture Art and Design, and the “Next Generation” award from Metropolis Magazine in New York, among others.
