Pedro Abril
Pedro Bandeira Abril is a Portuguese chef whose career is distinguished by his versatility and creativity in the kitchen. Initially trained in law, he decided to redirect his professional career towards gastronomy, starting his training in the hotel industry. Throughout his career, he has worked in various establishments, including Casa da Comida, Lekker by MJ, Expressões, Taberna Sal Grosso and Taberna Salmoura.
In 2020, he took over as head chef of Chapitô à Mesa, where he implemented new dynamics, such as the “Friendly Fire” events, which brought chefs together for collaborative dinners.
He is currently one of the chefs in charge of the kitchen at Musa da Bica and Fábrica da Musa, establishments associated with the Musa brewery, where he continues to innovate in the gastronomic offer. He is also a founding member of the chefs’ collective New Kids On The Block, which aims to promote sharing and collaboration between gastronomy professionals.
