Paulo Romão Brás

Paulo Romão Brás was born in Portalegre but soon swapped the rolling fields of the Alentejo for a view of the gentle waves of the Tagus. Lisbon is where he lives, works and trained at the E.S. de Comunicação Social and AR.CO. He has been exhibiting regularly, individually and collectively, since 1997. He is the founder and editor of the magazines Base, Número and A Morte do Artista, and a contributor to the magazines Magnética, Op. He is the author of the books Dark Parables (2015) and O Ciclo Curvo das Noites with J.E. Ferreira (2019).
