Paulo Martins Barata

Paulo Martins Barata is a Portuguese architect born in Lisbon in 1965. He is one of the founders of the PROMONTORIO studio, created in 1990, with international recognition in the fields of architecture, urban planning, interior design and landscaping.

He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Lisbon, completed an MBA at the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Architecture at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zürich). He was also a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in New York.
