Lisbon, 1975. Architect. Executive Director of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale since September 2011. He was a consultant in the areas of Architecture and Design at the Ministry of Culture’s Directorate-General for the Arts from 2003 to 2011, where he coordinated the official Portuguese representations at the Venice and São Paulo Architecture Biennales. He produced the exhibitions Siza Modern Redux in São Paulo and Arquiteturas em Palco at the Prague Quadrennial. He collaborated with Inês Lobo Arquitetos, was a producer at Associação Experimenta and worked as an intern at Diener & Diener Architekten Basel. He co-commissioned and produced two exhibitions of Portuguese contemporary art in San Francisco, while co-directing Galeria ZDB. He sometimes works on other creative and production fronts, collaborating with architects, artists, filmmakers and performers, as an active participant, on stage or behind the scenes.
