Frederico Martinho

Frederico Martinho is a Portuguese architectural photographer based in Lisbon. With a Master’s degree in Architecture and a final dissertation on Photography in the Work of Luis Barragán: From the photographic image to the imagination, I have developed, through the practice of architecture, photography and writing, a convinced intuition in images as a fundamental stage in politics, environments, the city and the territory. his work stands out for its collaboration with various architectural studios, documenting projects in Portugal and internationally.

As well as photography, Frederico Martinho is also a DJ and music producer, involved in the Portuguese electronic scene. He is one of the people responsible for the Volúpia platform, which promotes musical events and experiences, especially in the city of Coimbra. His musical approach is characterized by introspective selections and a sound aesthetic that explores dense and repetitive atmospheres.
