Filipa Ramalhete
Filipa Ramalhete is an anthropologist, researcher and lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL). She has a PhD in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Spatial Planning from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Her research interests focus on the anthropology of space, spatial justice and urban planning.
She is the director of the Center for Architecture, City and Territory Studies (CEACT/UAL) and of the journal Estudo Prévio, as well as a researcher at CICS.NOVA. Co-author of the Atlas Almirante Reis (Tinta da China, 2020), she has collaborated on urban intervention projects and actively participated in the intersection between architecture, territory and social practices.
