Filipa F. Almeida
Filipa Frois Almeida is a Portuguese architect and artist, co-founder of the creative studio FAHR 021.3, established in 2012 in Porto, Portugal. With a degree in Architecture from the Escola Superior Artística do Porto, Filipa furthered her studies at the Technische Universität Berlin through the Erasmus programme. During her time in Berlin, she collaborated with architectural firms such as LWArchitekten and J. MAYER H., as well as studying photography at the Portuguese Institute of Photography and the Imago Galerie Berlin.
At FAHR 021.3, Filipa and her partner Hugo Reis explore the intersection between art and architecture, creating interventions that challenge spatial and material conventions. Their notable projects include ‘Metamorphosis’, ‘Eclipse’ and ‘NAPPE’.
In addition to her work at FAHR 021.3, Filipa is co-founder of the HODOS project, which seeks to work with the landscape through architectural and artistic interventions in collaboration with other creative studios.
