FAHR 021.3
FAHR 021.3 is a Portuguese creative and experimental studio founded in 2012 by Filipa Frois Almeida and Hugo Reis, based in Porto. The name derives from the German word ‘Erfahrung’, which means ‘experience’, reflecting the studio’s approach to developing conceptual strategies that explore the unexpected, contradiction and decontextualisation. The studio’s practice lies at the intersection of art and architecture, resulting in installations and interventions that challenge conventional perceptions and promote new forms of interaction with urban space.
Over the years, FAHR 021.3 has been recognised internationally for projects that reimagine urban and cultural spaces. Their works include ‘Metamorphosis’, an installation that transformed an urban ruin in Porto, and ‘Eclipse’, a temporary sphere that changed the dynamics of a central city square. These works exemplify the studio’s philosophy of provoking and inspiring through the fusion of art and architecture, creating unique and memorable spatial experiences.
