Edgar Brito

Edgar Brito (Coimbra, 1984) holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from FEUP (Structures Option, 2009), has been a PhD candidate at FAUP’s PDA (Profile B) since 2013 with the thesis “Dialogues between Form and Structure”, is a member of CEAU (ATPH) and a guest researcher at D-ARCH ETH Zurich (Structural Design, ITA, 2018).
His interest in architecture leads him to establish a constant dialog with architects in order to improve the final goal of each project: the built work. He has collaborated on more than 60 projects, both with his own company (2017-) and with afaconsult (2009-2014,2016).
