70% of the population lives in Portuguese territory along the west coast. 5% of the population lives inland, near the border with Spain. We made 59 pre-defined points that we crossed with our route. This resulted in 59 photographs, two territories joined point by point by the same latitude. A scan of the national territory through its contrasts. In addition to our photos, we invited two photographers to take five individual shots, of their choice, at different latitudes. Daniel Malhão on the border line, Nuno Cera on the coastline. The result of this experience is a book of around 200 pages, with photos, texts and graphics. A portrait based on an observation that is more speculation than research into territory and landscape.
