About the Founders of RISE International
RISE International is a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to partnering with rural African communities to create sustainable opportunities in education, architecture, and economic empowerment, with a special focus on women and children. Through an innovative model that blends humanitarian mission with self-sustaining practices, RISE works to build schools, nurture entrepreneurs, and strengthen community infrastructure — all with the aim of unlocking local potential and expanding access to opportunity.
At the heart of this mission are the founders — Daniela Gusman, Pedro Clarke, and Luca Astorri — whose combined vision, professional excellence, and commitment to social impact drive the organization forward.

Together, Daniela, Pedro, and Luca unite leadership, design, and global perspective to advance RISE International’s vision of empowering individuals and communities to rise, lead, and thrive.
