Daniel Zamarbide

Daniel Zamarbide is one of the heads of the architecture studio BUREAU (with Carine Pimenta and Galliane Zamarbide), based between Geneva and Lisbon. Over the years, Daniel Zamarbide has developed a particular interest in the protean aspects of his discipline and feeds his work and research through other fields such as philosophy, the applied and visual arts, as well as cinema. As a guest lecturer and juror, he is frequently invited to a variety of architecture schools and international cultural institutions to present and discuss his work and research.
Since 2003, his interest in education has led him to be a lecturer at HEAD in Geneva and guest lecturer and co-director of the first year of the ALICE laboratory at EPFL.
