Carlos Machado e Moura

Carlos Machado e Moura is a Portuguese architect and researcher, born in Porto in 1982. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) in 2006, has a postgraduate degree in Architectural Heritage from the same institution (2013) and is a PhD candidate in the Doctoral Program in Architecture at FAUP, with support from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
He is currently a researcher at FAUP’s Center for Architecture and Urbanism Studies and teaches History and Theory of Architecture at FAUP and at the School of Architecture, Art and Design at the University of Minho. He is also co-editor of the magazine J-A Jornal Arquitectos (2022-2024).
