Éléonore Labattut

Architect, researcher and publisher with a focus on housing, urban reconstruction and spatial justice

Éléonore Labattut is a Franco-Portuguese architect and researcher, co-founder of the JUSTO CUSTO initiative, an independent magazine that explores the challenges, desires and experiences in the housing sector in Portugal. The publication acts as a space for research and collective imagination on the right to housing and fairer urban futures.

With a degree in Geography from the Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV) and a specialization in architecture and urbanism, Éléonore has worked with national and international organizations, as well as municipalities, in the reconstruction of territories affected by natural disasters. Her work emphasizes participatory methodologies and collaborative processes, promoting urban regeneration with a focus on social inclusion and community resilience.
