Thorvaldur\u2019s first book of poetry, a chapbook titled Draumar \u00e1 \u00fevottasn\u00faru (Dreams on a clothesline), was published in 2016 by Partus Press in their Emerging Poets series. His second book and first in full length, Gangverk (Clockwork), was published by M\u00e1l og menning in 2019 and received the Grassroots Grant by the Icelandic Literature Center. Thorvaldur&#8217;s third book of poetry, mannd\u00f3mur (manhood), will be published by M\u00e1l og menning in the fall of 2022. Alongside his writing, Thorvaldur has also worked as a journalist and radio host. He has written and produced several radio series for The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, including Or\u00f0in sem vi\u00f0 skiljum ekki (The words we do not understand) and Listin a\u00f0 brenna b\u00e6kur<br \/>\n(The Art of Burning Books).
