His work encompasses instrumental and electroacoustic compositions, site-specific sound installations, performances and collaborations with visual artists, choreographers and directors.<\/p>\n<p>With a degree in Architecture from FAUL (2004), he went on to complete a Bachelor&#8217;s and Master&#8217;s degree in Composition at the Lisbon School of Music (2009 and 2011). He obtained a PhD in Composition and Sound Arts from the Sonic Arts Research Centre at Queen&#8217;s University Belfast (2016), with the thesis Music Through Architecture &#8211; Contributions to an Expanded Practice in Composition.<\/p>\n<p>Her artistic practice investigates sound composition as a tool for spatial and material exploration, having developed projects such as \u201cCampo Pr\u00f3ximo\u201d (with Matilde Meireles), \u201cCan\u00e7\u00e3o Nova\u201d (with Andr\u00e9 Guedes) and \u201cOs Passos em Volta\u201d (with Joana Braga). He has collaborated with artists and dance and theater companies such as T\u00e2nia Carvalho, Paula Diogo and Miguel Pereira.
