It is also, and above all, a reference to Machado de Assis&#8217; magnificent play \u201cMemorial de Aires\u201d.<br \/>\nWhat motivates the program, which, along with others, revolves around architecture, is precisely the relationship with issues that have architecture at their core, even when they come from other quarters.<br \/>\nIt will always be more interesting to look at these issues in the moments before they are disciplined, that is, before they become (the discipline of) Architecture.<br \/>\nSo, before it: space &#8211; which everyone knows what it is, and everyone deals with, without needing to be an architect &#8211; and also construction, understood in the sense of a thing that is the expression, the materialization of an idea (a thing without matter).
