Vlad Mizikov

Vlad Mizikov is a clinical therapist and interdisciplinary artist based in Lisbon and Goa. With a degree in Musculoskeletal Therapy (BHSc), he specialises in clinical myotherapy, addressing neuromuscular dysfunctions through techniques that integrate functional anatomy, biomechanics and neural patterns. Her practice is influenced by over a decade of experience in yoga and an apprenticeship with holistic therapist KRI Jagdish.
At the same time, Vlad is co-founder of the artistic collective The Third Thing, alongside Nithya Iyer. Together, they explore the relationship between body and space through performances and installations that investigate concepts such as ‘monstrous architecture’ and the phenomenology of movement. One of their notable projects is Violet Desert, presented in Portugal.
