Rui Filipe Pinto

Rui Filipe Pinto is a Portuguese architect and founder of the studio STUDIOLO, established in 2021. His practice is distinguished by its exploration of the intersections between nature, context and the historical trajectories of art and architecture. The studio’s work ranges from subtle renovations to complex urban interventions, reflecting a commitment to creating architecture that is deeply attuned to its physical and cultural environments.

On an academic level, Rui Filipe Pinto is currently a Visiting Professor in the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC) and teaches at ETH Zürich, collaborating with Professor Maria Conen. Previously, he taught at EPF Lausanne and was a teaching assistant at Porto Academy.
