Igor Jesus

Igor Jesus was born in 1989 and lives and works in Lisbon. He has a degree in sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. In 2013, he won 1st Place in the ICA (Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual) competition to make a short film.
He recently held the solo exhibitions A última carta ao Pai Natal (2015) at Galeria Filomena Soares and Debaixo do Sol (2015) at Appleton Square, Lisbon. In 2014 she presented the exhibition Old School #32, Lisbon and in 2013 Peso morto, Espaço Zero, Tomar.

He took part in several group exhibitions in 2015, including: Um Horizonte de Proximidades, Arquipélago – Centro de Artes Contemporâneas, Ribeira Grande, São Miguel, Azores; ArteMar, Princípio Tautológico, Hangar – Centro de Investigação Artística, Lisbon; Works from the António Cachola Collection, Centro de Arte Contemporânea Graça Morais, Bragança; The lynx knows no boundaries, Fondation d’Entrepise Ricard, Paris.
