Filipa Oliveira

Filipa Oliveira is a Portuguese contemporary art curator and critic with an international career that began in 2002. She currently runs the National Museum of Contemporary Art – Museu do Chiado, in Lisbon.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Tate Modern, Frieze Projects and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She was curator of the Coimbra Biennial – Anozero’21-22, and was appointed creative mediator of the Manifesta 15 Biennial (Barcelona, 2024). With a critical approach, Filipa Oliveira has stood out for promoting artistic practices that question the status quo and broaden cultural dialog.
