Filipe Paixão

Filipe Paixão is a Portuguese architect and founder of Corpo Atelier, an architecture and art studio established in Faro in 2014. The studio is recognised for its innovative approach, exploring ‘architectural anatomy’ through evocative compositions that combine architecture and the visual arts. Filipe graduated from the Lusíada University in Lisbon. His professional career includes internships in Copenhagen and experience in Porto, before establishing Corpo Atelier.

Corpo Atelier develops a variety of projects, from rehabilitations of existing buildings to new constructions and product design, always with a focus on exploring and expanding architectural anatomy. The atelier’s practice is characterised by an integrated approach, combining art and architecture to create provocative and dynamic compositions.
